Hope of Life Christian Church is a bilingual pentecostal church located in the westside of San Antonio, Texas. Hope of Life was established in 1982 by our founding pastor, Juanita C. Reynosa and has since been led by her sister Valentina Mendiola, and currently by Pastor Reynosa's grandson Antonio Gonzales Sr. 

The Lord provided a building for Pastor Reynosa at 1424 San Fernando, and there she began to gather her own flock. Pastor Reynosa had been diagnosed with cancer and given months to live by doctors, but she was determined to live for the Lord as long as He allowed. Thirteen years later, in 1995, she was called home but not before leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.

     In 1995, Pastor Reynosa’s sister Valentina Mendiola took over as Pastor and along with her, as Co-Pastor, was Antonio Gonzales Sr.

With God leading, they continued to serve the Westside of San Antonio with love for the lost and compassion for the broken. In 2003, Pastor Mendiola was called home to be with the Lord. Since then, our pastors Antonio and Christine Gonzales have dedicated their lives to saving the lost and giving their hearts to the broken. 

     Our pastors, Antonio and Christine, are devoted servants who worked under both pastors and love God whole heartedly. They have one child together, Antonio Gonzales Jr.
